About Me
Before my oldest was born, I had just received my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I enhanced my education with countless parenting books and classes, compiling tools for every challenge I could imagine. Yet, I struggled at times to implement my own strategies until I realized they often conflicted with my nature. The greatest intentions only go so far unless they become habit. Luckily, great parenting plans come in all varieties. Let me help you find the one that works for you.
I'm a Certified Positive Discipline Parenting Educator with teaching licenses in special and general education. I live with my husband, 18-year-old daughter, 16-year-old son, dog, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. I've taught numerous parenting classes and workshops for parents of toddlers to teenagers, and worked directly with kids from infancy to adulthood.
